The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lázár Kolozsvári showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kázmér Virágh in the 5th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Géza Bíró in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domonkos Fülep saved Vatta from getting behind. Turul FC Tatabánya's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vatta the free kick. A collision led to Turul FC Tatabánya getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ferenc Tímár hit a great ball. Géza Bíró recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Domonkos Fülep stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Géza Bíró's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Géza Bíró lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Domonkos Fülep. After a rather tough play, Vatta's Kázmér Virágh got a free kick in the 34th minute. When Szabolcs Gyarmati fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vatta's protests and gave Szabolcs Gyarmati a yellow card for diving instead. Szabolcs Gyarmati kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Géza Bíró in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domonkos Fülep prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 55 played minutes Vatta got a freekick which was hit by Imre Mesterházy. When Turul FC Tatabánya's Géza Bíró in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vatta's goalie prevented a goal. Géza Bíró struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Domonkos Fülep didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Turul FC Tatabánya. 61 minutes into the game, Kázmér Virágh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vatta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Turul FC Tatabánya the free kick. Kázmér Virágh kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Vilmos Oláh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Turul FC Tatabánya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vilmos Oláh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Domonkos Fülep made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Géza Bíró in the 69th minute of play. Vatta's Szabolcs Gyarmati got his second yellow card of the match in the 69th minute. The referee ordered Szabolcs Gyarmati off the ground. In the 70th minute, Szabolcs Gyarmati hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Géza Bíró put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Domonkos Fülep. Bernát Czene fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domonkos Fülep having to interfere. Ödön Tímár charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ödön Tímár the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Vatta getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Ödön Tímár hit a great ball. If Gábor Csank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 83 minutes, Géza Bíró made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Vatta's Domonkos Fülep tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Domonkos Fülep didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Géza Bíró went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 95 minutes into the match, Turul FC Tatabánya's goalkeeper Lázár Kolozsvári had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Imre Mesterházy. Turul FC Tatabánya's József Fejes got his second yellow card of the match in the 95th minute. The referee ordered József Fejes off the ground.
