Ferenc Horváth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milán Albert in the 6th minute of the match. After 11 played minutes Sc Finals got a freekick which was hit by László Szívós. In the 13th minute Milán Albert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferenc Horváth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Balázs Havas in the 16th minute of play forced Sc Finals's goalkeeper Ferenc Horváth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th match minute, Sc Finals was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sándor Bánhegyi to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute György Szigeti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferenc Horváth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torcy FC's Balázs Havas got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ferenc Horváth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Attila Ács, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. If Soma Bálint had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Richárd Honti fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sc Finals's protests and gave Richárd Honti a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th minute, Richárd Honti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Torcy FC fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Torcy FC's Attila Ács looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Torcy FC's Norbert Grosics played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolf Béres in the 39th minute of play. Sc Finals's Soma Bálint came free and shot a quick shot against goal 45 minutes in the game, fortunately Norbert Grosics had problems saving as it came toward the left post. If Soma Bálint had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Sc Finals players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Torcy FC were winning 0-1.

In the 57th minute, József Havas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sc Finals fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Norbert Grosics didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from József Havas went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Milán Albert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Ferenc Horváth made a huge save. In the 74th minute György Kuncz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferenc Horváth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Milán Albert's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ferenc Horváth firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, Sc Finals's Ferenc Horváth got control of the ball when Milán Albert tried to sneak it across the goal line. With 88 minutes on the clock, Kálmán Bíró commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Sc Finals's Kálmán Bíró got a free kick in the 89th minute. Ferenc Horváth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tamás Szepes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Torcy FC booed when Sc Finals was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. József Havas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Márk Gerencsér was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sc Finals's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Torcy FC the free kick. Márk Gerencsér kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Sc Finals were victorious despite being under pressure from Torcy FC for much of the match.
