When Zsolt Barabás fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Árpád Tímár scored 0-4 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Róbert Demeter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Róbert Demeter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pál Lipták in the 36th minute of play. Bulcsú Jósa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attila Mészáros in the 41st minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Zirc VSE's Dušan Novković nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Róbert Demeter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. The Somogyvár EAC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zirc VSE were winning 1-6.

The wind increased when Olivér Demeter made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lóránt Pető in the 54th minute of play forced Somogyvár EAC's goalkeeper Róbert Demeter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Árpád Tímár hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the match, Somogyvár EAC's goal looked a bit too open when Pál Lipták came free, but Róbert Demeter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Róbert Demeter was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Pál Lipták capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pál Lipták really showed his touch with that goal: 1-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zsolt Barabás in the 76th minute of play forced Zirc VSE's goalkeeper Bulcsú Jósa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Róbert Demeter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lóránt Pető, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bulcsú Jósa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olivér Demeter in the 85th minute of the match. Róbert Demeter came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Zirc VSE's Lóránt Pető. But to his dismay, Lóránt Pető quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-9. With a little luck, Somogyvár EAC's Róbert Demeter got control of the ball when Árpád Tímár tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lóránt Pető could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Róbert Demeter made a huge save. Olivér Demeter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bulcsú Jósa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. 99 minutes into the game, Árpád Tímár cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-11. Róbert Demeter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zirc VSE's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
