The Torcy FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norbert Grosics should have stopped the shot. In the 36th minute, Jácint Sinkó left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Szigetcsép SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. If Ferenc Pádár had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zakariás Kolozsvári couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Jácint Sinkó kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Norbert Grosics. That made the score 0-6 in the 67 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Jácint Sinkó managed to get in a good position for a shot. Szigetcsép SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jácint Sinkó was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norbert Grosics breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tamás Szepes's late challenge caught a Szigetcsép SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tamás Szepes helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Torcy FC's Tamás Szepes got a free kick in the 77th minute. Ferenc Pádár could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Norbert Grosics made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded Szigetcsép SC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Torcy FC.
