Heretacskók's Imre Vajda got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute of the match József Gellért shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aurél Gulyás showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 37th minute Roland Medgyesi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurél Gulyás saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mórahalom's goalkeeper Aurél Gulyás, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Imre Vajda succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 42nd playminute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Attila Csontos made a kick off. Aurél Gulyás came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Heretacskók's Roland Medgyesi. But to his dismay, Roland Medgyesi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Aurél Gulyás didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Imre Vajda went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Aurél Gulyás showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Medgyesi, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute Imre Vajda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurél Gulyás saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Norbert Túri during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aurél Gulyás showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tibor Honti in the 67th minute of the match. Aurél Gulyás made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Medgyesi in the 69th minute of play. Endre Jósa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Attila Csontos's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. In the 76th minute, Roland Medgyesi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurél Gulyás was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Zénó Hellinger hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After having played for 88 minutes, Imre Vajda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Heretacskók's supporters crossed their fingers, but Imre Vajda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Mórahalom's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Medgyesi came free, but Aurél Gulyás reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurél Gulyás showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Medgyesi in the 92nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Attila Csontos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Endre Jósa was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Mórahalom's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
