If Tibor Honti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in JVSC's zone, Imre Vajda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pál Pénzes came out of the goal and Imre Vajda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pál Pénzes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Medgyesi, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. A collision led to JVSC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. György Bánhegyi hit a great ball. Imre Vajda had several of the JVSC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 10 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Pál Pénzes as he didn't even see the shot coming. Olivér Soltész could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Pál Pénzes made a huge save. In the 20th minute, Roland Medgyesi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Imre Vajdas short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Pál Pénzes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Zénó Hellinger's late challenge caught a JVSC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zénó Hellinger helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Heretacskók's Zénó Hellinger got a free kick in the 25th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olivér Soltész during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of JVSC booed when Heretacskók was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olivér Soltész didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mózes Segesváry hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Márk Almási charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Márk Almási the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of Heretacskók:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of JVSC:s goal. In the 44th minute there was a penalty for JVSC. Endre Szénási stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Endre Jósa. 1-1. Roland Medgyesi hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Levente Gál made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Olivér Soltész managed to get in a good position for a shot. Heretacskók's supporters rose to their feet, but Olivér Soltész was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pál Pénzes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pál Pénzes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gáspár Földesi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pál Pénzes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Medgyesi in the 60th minute of play. Imre Vajda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pál Pénzes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Medgyesi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roland Medgyesi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Pál Pénzes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Imre Vajda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pál Pénzes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Pál Pénzes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Imre Vajda in the 74th minute of play. When Heretacskók's Roland Medgyesi in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye JVSC's goalie prevented a goal. Tibor Magos kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. The long shot by Endre Szénási in the 83rd minute really tested Endre Jósa's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Heretacskók's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
