Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Vítor Melo made the kick off which started today's match. Andor Hellinger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Lajos Szőke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Egon Vermes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vítor Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Sajópálfala FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tivadar Fenyvesi came free, but Egon Vermes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egon Vermes came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Palma Kossuth Tér's Vítor Melo. But to his dismay, Vítor Melo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 11 minutes into the game, Vítor Melo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Egon Vermes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Palma Kossuth Tér's Vítor Melo got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bálint Vastag in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egon Vermes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vítor Melo scored 0-3 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Egon Vermes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bálint Vastag's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Egon Vermes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 29th minute Vítor Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egon Vermes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Palma Kossuth Tér booed when Sajópálfala FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krisztián Somogyi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egon Vermes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from András Kenesei went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 37 minutes into the game, Sajópálfala FC's Andor Hellinger nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lajos Szőke made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. If István Gombos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ádám Kossuth lost his temper 42 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Andor Hellinger shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 46th minute of the game Gusztáv Bán made a throw-in which Andor Hellinger played forward. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bulcsú Benke to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Vítor Melo took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Egon Vermes to make any attempt to save it. Tivadar Fenyvesi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benjámin Bodó struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Lajos Szőke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sajópálfala FC. Lajos Szőke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bulcsú Benke in the 68th minute of the match. A collision led to Sajópálfala FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Andor Hellinger hit a great ball. Gusztáv Bán got a throw-in 71 minutes in the game and the ball was received by József Takács. Vítor Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Egon Vermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tivadar Fenyvesi in the 80th minute of play forced Sajópálfala FC's goalkeeper Egon Vermes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute Bulcsú Benke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lajos Szőke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vítor Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egon Vermes having to interfere. Palma Kossuth Tér's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
