Zénó Sallói took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gedeon Kerékgyártó. Gedeon Kerékgyártó dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 10th minute, Emánuel Ferenczy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gedeon Kerékgyártó was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zénó Sallói in the 14th minute of play forced Diósgyőr 1910's goalkeeper Gedeon Kerékgyártó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Diósgyőr 1910's Árpád Kaszás seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Árpád Kaszás the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Diósgyőr 1910 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Árpád Kaszás had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a defensive mix-up in Diósgyőr 1910's zone, Roland Mátrai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gedeon Kerékgyártó came out of the goal and Roland Mátrai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gedeon Kerékgyártó showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zénó Sallói, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Gedeon Kerékgyártó took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zénó Sallói, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 minutes of play, Pátka Spartacus's Péter Kósa made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gedeon Kerékgyártó was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Zalán Ónodi came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Diósgyőr 1910 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zalán Ónodi couldn't finish the play. In the 39th match minute, Pátka Spartacus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakab Konkoly to maneuver through the defense. Bence Kovács struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Géza Varsányi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Diósgyőr 1910. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zalán Ónodi made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Pátka Spartacus's Péter Kósa made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gedeon Kerékgyártó was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Diósgyőr 1910 defense, András Vass kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gedeon Kerékgyártó. The Diósgyőr 1910 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gedeon Kerékgyártó should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Diósgyőr 1910 booed when Pátka Spartacus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Péter Kósa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Diósgyőr 1910's goal looked a bit too open when Zénó Sallói came free, but Gedeon Kerékgyártó reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Péter Kósa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gedeon Kerékgyártó. Diósgyőr 1910's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Péter Kósa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. In the 73rd minute, Péter Kósa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pátka Spartacus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Péter Kósa got free with Gedeon Kerékgyártó in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zalán Ónodi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zénó Sallói in the 82nd minute of play forced Diósgyőr 1910's goalkeeper Gedeon Kerékgyártó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pátka Spartacus's Géza Varsányi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zalán Ónodi in the 85th minute of play. Diósgyőr 1910's Gedeon Kerékgyártó proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Diósgyőr 1910 from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by András Vass in the 88th minute of play forced Diósgyőr 1910's goalkeeper Gedeon Kerékgyártó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zénó Sallói could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Gedeon Kerékgyártó made a huge save. Pátka Spartacus's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
