Balázs Bagi started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Balázs Bagi notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Zuglói Arsenal FC's Henrik Rákosi. Henrik Rákosi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Komlóska's goalkeeper Endre Csernyi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Komlóska's goal looked a bit too open when Károly Szepes came free, but Endre Csernyi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Zuglói Arsenal FC's Károly Szepes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Endre Csernyi. That made the score 1-1 after 18 minutes of play. If Károly Szepes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30thth minute of the game Balázs Bagi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zuglói Arsenal FC's Henrik Rákosi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Zuglói Arsenal FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Gábor Gerencsér hit a great ball. Nándor Lévay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Brúnó Madarász fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zuglói Arsenal FC's protests and gave Brúnó Madarász a yellow card for diving instead. 40 minutes into the game, one of Zuglói Arsenal FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Komlóska a penalty, 42 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ferenc Fodor, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Zuglói Arsenal FC's Henrik Rákosi. 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Nándor Lévay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zuglói Arsenal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nándor Lévay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Endre Csernyi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Károly Szepes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Endre Csernyi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Károly Szepes in the 56th minute of play forced Komlóska's goalkeeper Endre Csernyi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Komlóska's goal looked a bit too open when Nándor Lévay came free, but Endre Csernyi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nándor Lévay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Komlóska's Balázs Bagi got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Károly Szepes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Károly Szepes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd match minute, Zuglói Arsenal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Károly Szepes to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 73rd minute by Balázs Bagi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Komlóska's Endre Csernyi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Károly Szepes in the 77th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Károly Szepes in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Endre Csernyi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nándor Lévay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Endre Csernyi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nándor Lévay in the 91st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Károly Szepes in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Endre Csernyi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nándor Lévay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Endre Csernyi having to interfere. Although Zuglói Arsenal FC had been in control for most of the match, Komlóska still came away with the win.
