Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Emánuel Ferenczy got the match started through his kick off. When Zénó Sallói came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Pátka Spartacus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zénó Sallói couldn't finish the play. In the 8thth minute of the game Kálmán Madaras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pátka Spartacus's Géza Varsányi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Géza Varsányi came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Újszász's Zsolt Bódi. But to his dismay, Zsolt Bódi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Zsolt Bódi came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Újszász fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zsolt Bódi couldn't finish the play. Újszász's Fülöp Sipos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emánuel Ferenczy in the 15th minute of play. Kálmán Madaras might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Géza Varsányi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kálmán Madaras ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 19th minute, Kálmán Madaras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st minute Kálmán Madaras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Géza Varsányi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Péter Kósa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Fülöp Sipos made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Zsolt Bódi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Újszász's supporters rose to their feet, but Zsolt Bódi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Géza Varsányi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tamás Sárosi hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute Zénó Sallói shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fülöp Sipos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kálmán Madaras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Újszász defense, Péter Kósa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fülöp Sipos. The Újszász fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fülöp Sipos should have stopped the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zsolt Bódi to make the kick off. Fülöp Sipos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from András Vass, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Roland Mátrai took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fülöp Sipos. Újszász's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Pátka Spartacus booed when Újszász was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurél Erős didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 67 played minutes Pátka Spartacus got a freekick which was hit by Máté Bányay. If Kálmán Madaras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 69 minutes, Rajmund Sági managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Újszász's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rajmund Sági was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A throw-in in the 70th minute of the game was made by Máté Bányay with András Vass as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Fülöp Sipos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emánuel Ferenczy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Újszász's Lukács Mátrai got a free kick in the 79th minute. After some careless play in the Újszász defense, András Vass kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fülöp Sipos. The Újszász fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fülöp Sipos should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Újszász's zone, Péter Kósa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fülöp Sipos came out of the goal and Péter Kósa tried to chip the ball over his head.
