An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcell Benkó in the 3rd minute of play forced Siklósbodony's goalkeeper Henrik Vámosi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Szentendre FC defense, Sámuel Kárpáthy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of András Kőváry. The Szentendre FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that András Kőváry should have stopped the shot. András Kőváry made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Endre Szalai in the 10th minute of play. Mátyás Edelényi's late challenge caught a Siklósbodony's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mátyás Edelényi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th minute Ferenc Kovács shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but András Kőváry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Szentendre FC's András Kőváry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tamás Cseh in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Marcell Benkó recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Henrik Vámosi. Marcell Benkó showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Zalán Illés charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zalán Illés the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 26 played minutes Szentendre FC got a freekick which was hit by Zalán Illés. In the 31st minute, Marcell Benkó reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Henrik Vámosi. The goal made the score 2-1. In the 40th minute, Ervin Pintér made a precise shot to the right of Henrik Vámosi. Siklósbodony's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Sámuel Kárpáthy scored 3-2 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of András Kőváry, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcell Benkó was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tamás Cseh got free with András Kőváry in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tamás Cseh hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, Ervin Pintér had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henrik Vámosi. Siklósbodony's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ervin Pintér was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. 66 minutes into the match, Siklósbodony's Ferenc Kovács sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that András Kőváry narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Ferenc Kovács got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Siklósbodony booed when Szentendre FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dániel Pál didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Szentendre FC's zone, Sámuel Kárpáthy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. András Kőváry came out of the goal and Sámuel Kárpáthy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. András Kőváry showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tamás Cseh in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Sámuel Kárpáthy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ferenc Kovács fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without András Kőváry having to interfere. The supporters of Siklósbodony booed when Szentendre FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richárd Szőllőssy didn't get a good kick on the ball. András Kőváry showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sámuel Kárpáthy in the 81st minute of the match. András Kőváry made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Ferenc Kovács sent off a good shot on target. 85 minutes into the game, Szentendre FC's Marcell Benkó nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henrik Vámosi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. When Siklósbodony's Ferenc Kovács in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Szentendre FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
