The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute János Simicska shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mózes Kormos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 played minutes, Hali's Elemér Selymes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mózes Kormos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hali reached it. Árpád Lehoczky showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from János Kocsis, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Árpád Lehoczky made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Ákos Borbás sent off a good shot on target. Viktor Kardos's late challenge caught a Uszód SI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Viktor Kardos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Hali getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Viktor Kardos hit a great ball. János Kocsis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Árpád Lehoczky having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Ákos Borbás fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Árpád Lehoczky, passed just outside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Hali's zone, János Kocsis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Árpád Lehoczky came out of the goal and János Kocsis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the match, Uszód SI's Ákos Borbás sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Árpád Lehoczky narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, János Simicska ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mózes Kormos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Zsombor Irmai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hali's Árpád Lehoczky proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Hali from getting a goal against them. Dániel Szilágyi kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. János Kocsis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Árpád Lehoczky tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 47 minutes, János Kocsis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uszód SI's supporters crossed their fingers, but János Kocsis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Illés Németh sped through Uszód SI's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mózes Kormos. A collision led to Uszód SI getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Zsombor Irmai hit a great ball. Uszód SI's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Viktor Kardos scored to the left of an out of position Mózes Kormos, making the score, 0-4. Uszód SI's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when János Simicska scored to the left of an out of position Mózes Kormos, making the score, 0-5. 70 minutes into the match, Uszód SI's goalkeeper Mózes Kormos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Illés Németh. The crowd rose to their feet as Hali's János Simicska slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mózes Kormos. That made the score 0-6 after 74 minutes of play. Mózes Kormos didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 80th minute, which inside left pole to 0-8. If János Kocsis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, Hali's goal looked a bit too open when János Kocsis came free, but Árpád Lehoczky reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
