In the 4th minute Sándor Zádori shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Botond Varsányi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Botond Varsányi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sándor Zádori in the 6th minute of the match. Tibor Zsinka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Botond Varsányi having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Lokomotív FC's Sándor Zádori slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Botond Varsányi. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. Botond Varsányi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from István Dancs in the 15th minute of the match. Gyula Szőcs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Botond Varsányi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Konstantin Edelényi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Botond Varsányi made an important save on a dangerous shot by István Dancs in the 24th minute. With a little luck, Bíró Márton FC's Botond Varsányi got control of the ball when István Dancs tried to sneak it across the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Bíró Márton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sándor Zádori came free, but Botond Varsányi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Adrián Ambrus fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Tibor Zsinka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tibor Zsinka struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Botond Varsányi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lokomotív FC. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Lokomotív FC's Gyula Szőcs in the 42nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Botond Varsányi was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Bíró Márton FC through an amazing save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbyszek Poremba in the 47th minute of play forced Bíró Márton FC's goalkeeper Botond Varsányi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Konstantin Edelényi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Botond Varsányi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tibor Zsinka's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 56th match minute, Lokomotív FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norbert Pádár to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Bíró Márton FC's zone, Gyula Szőcs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Botond Varsányi came out of the goal and Gyula Szőcs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 64 minutes, Sándor Zádori managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lokomotív FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sándor Zádori was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Botond Varsányi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from István Dancs in the 65th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bíró Márton FC's zone, Sándor Zádori stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Botond Varsányi came out of the goal and Sándor Zádori tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gyula Szőcs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Botond Varsányi having to make a save. Bíró Márton FC's Botond Varsányi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sándor Zádori in the 72nd minute of play. Botond Varsányi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sándor Zádori in the 75th minute of play. Sándor Zádori received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Botond Varsányi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sándor Zádori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Botond Varsányi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sándor Zádori in the 82nd minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, Lokomotív FC's István Dancs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Botond Varsányi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Sándor Zádori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sándor Zádori in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Botond Varsányi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee ended the match the Lokomotív FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
