Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5900, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gábor Hajdú started the match with the kick off. Csaba Virág recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tamás Szepesvári in the 6th minute of play forced Vörös Rózsa FC's goalkeeper Márton Baráth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Csaba Virág received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. István Vincze came out and tried to block the shot, but Csaba Virág slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. Márton Baráth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tamás Szepesvári, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mihály Moravecz to make the kick off. The supporters of Piliscsaba booed when Vörös Rózsa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Károly Lisztes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Márton Baráth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gábor Hajdú, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tamás Szepesvári kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Tamás Szepesvári fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Márton Baráth having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zsolt Kondor got free with Márton Baráth in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Vörös Rózsa FC defense, Tamás Szepesvári kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Márton Baráth. The Vörös Rózsa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Márton Baráth should have stopped the shot. Piliscsaba's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
