After 25 minutes, Levente Markos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vasas FC and the Berekalja Diói players grew even worse after the yellow card. Szilárd Szegedi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcell Erdei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute Szilárd Szegedi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aigars Vagals saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mátyás Halász received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Máté Földi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 40 minutes, Mátyás Halász managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berekalja Diói's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mátyás Halász was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Boldizsár Császár hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Máté Földi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mátyás Halász, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute, Norbert Gere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Berekalja Diói booed when Vasas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boldizsár Császár didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Mátyás Halász managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berekalja Diói's supporters rose to their feet, but Mátyás Halász was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Máté Földi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 69 minutes into the game, Mátyás Halász cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Máté Földi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Medárd Kovács kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 75th minute of the match Vasas FC got a corner. Berekalja Diói's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dániel Pásztor ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Vasas FC's corner Dániel Pásztor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aigars Vagals quite easily take care of the ball. Vasas FC's Máté Földi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mátyás Halász in the 81st minute of play. Marcell Erdei took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Máté Földi. Máté Földi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 85th minute Marcell Erdei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máté Földi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berekalja Diói's Mátyás Halász got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute Szilárd Szegedi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aigars Vagals saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Szilárd Szegedi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vasas FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
