After 5 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by János Szepes. Béla Pintér showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from András Salamon in the 6th minute of the match. Márton Pető received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Attila Tábori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Ferenc Kocsis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. András Salamon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Béla Pintér having to interfere. In the 17th minute, András Salamon made a precise shot to the right of Béla Pintér. Hungary's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ákos Horváth hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. János Szepes struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Attila Tábori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. In the 28th minute Márton Pető shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attila Tábori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pál Pál-Szabó kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. When Márton Pető came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Márton Pető couldn't finish the play. Hungary's Béla Pintér played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by András Salamon in the 38th minute of play. Mean Machine's Attila Tábori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Mean Machine from getting a goal against them. Márton Pető in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Attila Tábori, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If János Szepes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Márton Pető was the one to do the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Márton Pető who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mean Machine's Attila Tábori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If András Salamon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hungary's Béla Pintér played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Béla Váczi in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Hungary's goalkeeper Béla Pintér had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by András Salamon. Ákos Horváth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 64 minutes into the game, Mean Machine's Bánk Soós nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Béla Pintér made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After having played for 68 minutes, Márton Pető managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Márton Pető was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute, Márton Pető made a precise shot to the right of Attila Tábori. Mean Machine's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. When Hungary's Márton Pető in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mean Machine's goalie prevented a goal. 78 minutes into the game, András Salamon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Béla Pintér was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 82nd minute of the match, Béla Váczi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Béla Pintér saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Pál Páncsics charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pál Páncsics the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 84 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Pál Páncsics. András Salamon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Mean Machine's András Salamon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Béla Pintér narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by János Szepes in the 94th minute of play forced Mean Machine's goalkeeper Attila Tábori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Hungary's János Szepes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Attila Tábori made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Mean Machine were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Hungary's much stronger midfield.
