Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but János Szepes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zsolt Bányai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jácint Mogyorós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zsolt Bányai acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 11th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dániel Tinódi. In the 12th minute, Hungary's Márton Pető ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zsolt Bányai. Zsolt Bányai yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Kispest HFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Jakab Kiprich scored to the left of an out of position Zsolt Bányai, making the score, 2-0. After 24 played minutes Kispest HFC got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Havasi. János Szepes struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Zsolt Bányai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. In the 43rd match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakab Kiprich to maneuver through the defense. Béla Pintér made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krisztián Bodó in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Márton Pető was the one to do the kick off. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Márton Pető sped through Kispest HFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zsolt Bányai. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krisztián Bodó in the 56th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Béla Pintér to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Kispest HFC's Jácint Mogyorós sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Béla Pintér narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Márton Pető's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zsolt Bányai was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. János Szepes scored 4-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zsolt Bányai, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Béla Pintér made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jácint Mogyorós in the 69th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Márton Pető in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zsolt Bányai saved Kispest HFC from getting behind. 80 minutes into the game, Tamás Radnai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kispest HFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. In the 81st match minute, Kispest HFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tamás Radnai to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Henrik Madaras got a free kick in the 84th minute. 86 minutes into the game, Hungary's Márton Pető nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zsolt Bányai made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Zsolt Bányai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Márton Pető, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. János Szepes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zsolt Bányai having to interfere. Dénes Rácz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zsolt Bányai having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Hungary players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
