János Szepes might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over István Vincze. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. János Szepes ran back to his position shaking his head. Piliscsaba's Gábor Hajdú got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 8 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Gábor Hajdú came free, but Béla Pintér reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute, Márton Pető made a precise shot to the right of István Vincze. Piliscsaba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 18 played minutes, Piliscsaba's Zsolt Kondor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Béla Pintér came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Piliscsaba reached it. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Márton Pető got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Dénes Rácz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving István Vincze. That made the score 2-0 in the 29 minute of play. With his leg István Vincze managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Hungary's Márton Pető fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Márton Pető sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Hungary booed when Piliscsaba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristóf Fazekas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute of the match Zsolt Kondor sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Béla Pintér skillfully saved the ball. Ferenc Kocsis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for István Vincze. Piliscsaba's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Márton Pető to strike the kick off in the second half. Dénes Rácz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the game, Piliscsaba's Tamás Szepesvári nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Béla Pintér made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Endre Fenyves made in the 61st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Hungary's János Szepes. István Vincze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Márton Pető in the 65th minute of play. After some careless play in the Piliscsaba defense, Márton Pető kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of István Vincze. The Piliscsaba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that István Vincze should have stopped the shot. When János Szepes fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hungary's protests and gave János Szepes a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hungary! The goalkeeper, Béla Pintér, was totally fooled by Piliscsaba's Zsolt Kondor, who 73 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Márton Pető's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but István Vincze read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Márton Pető blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without István Vincze having to make a save. Hungary's Márton Pető got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. János Szepes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute of the match Dániel Tinódi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but István Vincze showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hungary's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
