Jakab Kiprich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Márton Baráth having to interfere. Kálmán Petres charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kálmán Petres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Márton Pető sped through Vörös Rózsa FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Márton Baráth. 20 minutes into the game, Mihály Moravecz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vörös Rózsa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. In the 20th minute, Mihály Moravecz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Vörös Rózsa FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Péter Oláh hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Pál Páncsics left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Márton Pető to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Hungary's Jakab Kiprich sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Márton Baráth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 53 played minutes Vörös Rózsa FC got a freekick which was hit by Péter Oláh. In the 62nd minute, Dömötör Dudics left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vörös Rózsa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Henrik Madaras hit a great ball. Vörös Rózsa FC's Gábor Győri managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gábor Fazekas in the 73 minute of the game. Márton Baráth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ákos Horváth in the 76th minute. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Márton Pető in the 77th minute. A nice corner shot did that Márton Pető got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Márton Baráth quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Jakab Kiprich managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Jakab Kiprich was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Márton Baráth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 80 played minutes Vörös Rózsa FC got a freekick which was hit by Péter Oláh. Vörös Rózsa FC's Márton Baráth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Vörös Rózsa FC from getting a goal against them. Hungary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
