Spectators: 7998 (Terracing: 6007, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gábor Hajdú started the match with the kick off. Kristóf Fazekas charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kristóf Fazekas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sárbogárd SE booed when Piliscsaba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristóf Fazekas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Piliscsaba's István Vincze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richárd Sörös in the 11th minute of play. When Gábor Hajdú, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 13 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Szilárd Bernáth was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Tamás Szepesvári received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Szilárd Bernáth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Károly Rigó managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sárbogárd SE's supporters rose to their feet, but Károly Rigó was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. István Vincze breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the match, Sárbogárd SE's Richárd Sörös sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that István Vincze narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Piliscsaba defense, Károly Rigó kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of István Vincze. The Piliscsaba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that István Vincze should have stopped the shot. István Vincze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Károly Rigó, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richárd Sörös in the 29th minute of play forced Piliscsaba's goalkeeper István Vincze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 31 minutes of play, Sárbogárd SE's Richárd Sörös made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. István Vincze was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36th minute Gábor Hajdú shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szilárd Bernáth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute Richárd Sörös shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but István Vincze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Piliscsaba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that István Vincze should have stopped the shot.

The wind increased when Károly Rigó made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Károly Rigó got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Richárd Sörös struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. István Vincze didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sárbogárd SE. After 62 played minutes Sárbogárd SE got a freekick which was hit by Richárd Sörös. A collision led to Piliscsaba getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Szilárd Dobi hit a great ball. Richárd Söröss short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got István Vincze to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tamás Szepesvári fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Szilárd Bernáth having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Sárbogárd SE's goal looked a bit too open when Gábor Hajdú came free, but Szilárd Bernáth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute Gábor Hajdú shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szilárd Bernáth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the last second István Vincze throw himself and got hold of the ball when Károly Rigó in the 75thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Kristóf Fazekas got his second yellow card in the match during the 76th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Piliscsaba getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Kristóf Fazekas hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Károly Rigó in the 80th minute of play forced Piliscsaba's goalkeeper István Vincze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 92 minutes, Károly Rigó managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sárbogárd SE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Károly Rigó was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tamás Szepesvári had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Sárbogárd SE supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sárbogárd SE would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
