Going Down's Flórián Halász got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Péter Földes succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 12th playminute. The crowd rose to their feet as Arzignano Grifo's Ottó Mesterházy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Balázs Bálint. That made the score 2-0 after 18 minutes of play. If Péter Földes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Going Down's goal looked a bit too open when Ottó Mesterházy came free, but Balázs Bálint reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roland Szikora could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Balázs Bálint made a huge save. After 29 minutes, Domonkos Révész mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Going Down and the Arzignano Grifo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Balázs Bálint had in the 62ndth minute some difficulties stopping Jácint Koncz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Balázs Bálint showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Péter Földes in the 63rd minute of the match. Sándor Veress fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcell Keresztes having to interfere. Péter Földes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
