Marcell Keresztes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrián Bartha in the 3rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zsolt Józsa got free with Marcell Keresztes in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Adrián Bartha came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Rudabánya fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrián Bartha couldn't finish the play. Rudabánya's Zsolt Józsa got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Rudabánya's goal looked a bit too open when Péter Földes came free, but Miklós Menyhért reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rudabánya's Zsolt Józsa got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bálint Tar charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bálint Tar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 24 played minutes Arzignano Grifo got a freekick which was hit by Bálint Tar. Miklós Menyhért made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Péter Földes in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugó Pucheli in the 41st minute of play forced Rudabánya's goalkeeper Miklós Menyhért to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ottó Mesterházy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Miklós Menyhért tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roland Szikora hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. If Adrián Bartha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Péter Földes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miklós Menyhért having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Rudabánya's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Szikora came free, but Miklós Menyhért reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ottó Mesterházy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miklós Menyhért took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ottó Mesterházy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the game, Ottó Mesterházy recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Miklós Menyhért. Ottó Mesterházy showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. A collision led to Arzignano Grifo getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Roland Szikora hit a great ball. With a little luck, Rudabánya's Miklós Menyhért got control of the ball when Péter Földes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miklós Menyhért made an important save on a dangerous shot by Péter Földes in the 89th minute. Ottó Mesterházy struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Miklós Menyhért didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arzignano Grifo. After a defensive mix-up in Rudabánya's zone, Roland Szikora stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miklós Menyhért came out of the goal and Roland Szikora tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Rudabánya supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Arzignano Grifo's performance. The match ended with a win for Arzignano Grifo.
