Spectators: 7351 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1851, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zoltán Kuncz got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Lak getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Dávid Puskás hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugó Horváth in the 7th minute of play forced Lak's goalkeeper Levente Lévai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lak's Levente Lévai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakab Újváry in the 13th minute of play. Levente Lévai came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Rudabánya's Ede Kardos. But to his dismay, Ede Kardos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Levente Lévai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakab Újváry in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Zakariás Nyilasi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zoltán Kuncz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 25th playminute. 30 minutes into the match, Lak's goal looked a bit too open when Jakab Újváry came free, but Levente Lévai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Roland Erdei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Levente Lévai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ede Kardos in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Rudabánya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Csaba Dárdai to maneuver through the defense. Levente Lévai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ede Kardos, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lak! Csaba Dárdai shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Árpád Elek was extremely unlucky when he, in the 44th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Levente Lévai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zsolt Józsa in the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Rudabánya made a substitution. Ignác Lengyel replaced Csaba Dárdai. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jakab Újváry stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Tibor Sári had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute of the match Botond Lakatos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Miklós Menyhért showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Lak's goalkeeper Levente Lévai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jakab Újváry. Miklós Menyhért made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Imre Kántor in the 59th minute of play. Zsolt Józsa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jakab Újváry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Levente Lévai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 70 played minutes Lak got a freekick which was hit by Zoltán Kuncz. Zoltán Kuncz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zoltán Kuncz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miklós Menyhért having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Imre Kántor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ede Kardos got free with Levente Lévai in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 95 minutes, Károly Bánhegyi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lak and the Rudabánya players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Rudabánya booed when Lak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Károly Bánhegyi didn't get a good kick on the ball.
