Spectators: 8415 (Terracing: 6312, Seating: 1935, VIP seats: 168) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when István Gere kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Nagykarácsony's Khalida Amirouche nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Géza Rigó made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 5 played minutes Nagykarácsony got a freekick which was hit by Árpád Oláh. Khalida Amirouche might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Géza Rigó. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Khalida Amirouche ran back to his position shaking his head. Khalida Amirouche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Géza Rigó tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Nagykarácsony's János Zarka in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Team Schell fc's goalie prevented a goal. Géza Rigó took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szabolcs Vándor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Szabolcs Vándor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Géza Rigó was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Sundin in the 14th minute of play forced Team Schell fc's goalkeeper Géza Rigó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Szabolcs Vándor might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Géza Rigó. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Szabolcs Vándor ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Team Schell fc defense, Torsten Sundin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Géza Rigó. The Team Schell fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Géza Rigó should have stopped the shot. 19 minutes into the match, Torsten Sundin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Géza Rigó. Team Schell fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Torsten Sundin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Géza Rigó took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szabolcs Vándor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Sundin in the 33rd minute of play forced Team Schell fc's goalkeeper Géza Rigó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Géza Rigó showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from János Zarka, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the game, Nagykarácsony's Szabolcs Vándor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Géza Rigó made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. János Zarka took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Géza Rigó. Géza Rigó dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Géza Rigó made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Félix Baló in the 42nd minute of play. Félix Baló might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Géza Rigó. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Félix Baló ran back to his position shaking his head. After 44 played minutes Nagykarácsony got a freekick which was hit by Torsten Sundin. The Team Schell fc players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Nagykarácsony were winning 0-9.

Team Schell fc's Géza Rigó played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by János Zarka in the 53rd minute of play. Géza Rigó took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torsten Sundin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Team Schell fc's goalkeeper couldn't reach when János Zarka 57 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-10. 60 minutes into the match, Szabolcs Vándor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Géza Rigó. Team Schell fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Szabolcs Vándor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-11. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Szabolcs Vándor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nagykarácsony's supporters rose to their feet, but Szabolcs Vándor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Géza Rigó breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Géza Rigó made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khalida Amirouche in the 66th minute of play. Géza Rigó was a little too slow when János Zarka got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 0-12. Nagykarácsony's Szabolcs Vándor got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st match minute, Team Schell fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waclaw Bugajski to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Nagykarácsony booed when Team Schell fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gyula Páncsics didn't get a good kick on the ball. Khalida Amirouche's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Géza Rigó read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Khalida Amirouche notched a goal, 0-14, to the right of Team Schell fc's Géza Rigó. Géza Rigó was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Félix Baló fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Géza Rigó having to interfere. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Team Schell fc's goalkeeper Géza Rigó, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nagykarácsony were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Team Schell fc's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Khalida Amirouche took the corner. The supporters of Nagykarácsony booed when Team Schell fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tibor Kaiser didn't get a good kick on the ball. Torsten Sundin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Géza Rigó came out and tried to block the shot, but Torsten Sundin slotted it home off the left post making it 0-16 in the 92nd minute. If Khalida Amirouche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Géza Rigó took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from János Zarka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nagykarácsony's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
