Spectators: 8592 (Terracing: 6445, Seating: 1976, VIP seats: 171) Pál Sugár started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Héreg SC's Răzvan Lipoveanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save Héreg SC from getting a goal against them. In the 5th minute, Anthimos Balopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Răzvan Lipoveanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Marton in the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pál Matolcsy in the 12th minute of play forced Rapid's goalkeeper Antal Pádár to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Anthimos Balopoulos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Héreg SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rapid the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Héreg SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rapid:s goal. 21 minutes into the game, Pál Sugár cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Răzvan Lipoveanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 26 minutes into the match, Héreg SC's goal looked a bit too open when Álmos Csáki came free, but Răzvan Lipoveanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rapid's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Krisztián Sinkó in the 27th minute. A nice corner shot did that Krisztián Sinkó got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Răzvan Lipoveanu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Rapid's Álmos Csáki in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Héreg SC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Héreg SC's Pál Matolcsy got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 31 played minutes Rapid got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Marton. Patrik Marton might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Răzvan Lipoveanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patrik Marton ran back to his position shaking his head. After 35 played minutes Héreg SC got a freekick which was hit by Dávid Szőllőssy. With a little luck, Héreg SC's Răzvan Lipoveanu got control of the ball when Pál Sugár tried to sneak it across the goal line. Héreg SC's Răzvan Lipoveanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Héreg SC from getting a goal against them. Pál Matolcsy struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Antal Pádár didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Héreg SC. Álmos Csáki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Răzvan Lipoveanu having to make a save. Răzvan Lipoveanu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pál Sugár showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 46 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 58thth minute of the game Álmos Csáki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Héreg SC's Răzvan Lipoveanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Răzvan Lipoveanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrik Marton in the 60th minute of play. Răzvan Lipoveanu came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Rapid's Álmos Csáki. But to his dismay, Álmos Csáki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Pál Sugár scored 5-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Răzvan Lipoveanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rapid's Pál Sugár got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute Pál Sugár shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Răzvan Lipoveanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Károly Vándor kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Károly Vándor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Răzvan Lipoveanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Álmos Csáki's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Răzvan Lipoveanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pál Sugár, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Álmos Csáki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álmos Csáki in the 96th minute of play forced Héreg SC's goalkeeper Răzvan Lipoveanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 97 minutes Héreg SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Krisztián Sinkó who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Rapid's Krisztián Sinkó to fire away a dangerous shot which Răzvan Lipoveanu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rapid's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
