An unexpectedly hard shot by Álmos Csáki in the 3rd minute of play forced Kisbágyon's goalkeeper Ivan Linquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Kisbágyon's Ivan Linquist got control of the ball when Patrik Marton tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 5th minute, Kisbágyon's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Álmos Csáki fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ivan Linquist was a little too slow when Pál Sugár got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Álmos Csáki in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Linquist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ferenc Kásás during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th minute, Ferenc Kásás hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pál Sugár recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute, Pál Sugár left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rapid fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Zoltán Sass sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rapid's Pál Sugár was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 40th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Álmos Csáki to make the kick off. Ivan Linquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pál Sugár, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rapid! Ivan Linquist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Álmos Csáki went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 58th minute, Béla Edelényi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Linquist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Álmos Csáki's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Ádám Soltész hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After 62 minutes, Álmos Csáki made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Kisbágyon's Ivan Linquist tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Rapid fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Rapid's Álmos Csáki looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ivan Linquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pál Sugár in the 72nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Rapid defense, Hélio Falcão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antal Pádár. The Rapid fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antal Pádár should have stopped the shot. Ivan Linquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álmos Csáki in the 77th minute of play. If Patrik Marton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th match minute, Kisbágyon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zoltán Sass to maneuver through the defense. After 85 played minutes Rapid got a freekick which was hit by János Kónya. Ivan Linquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álmos Csáki, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Rapid's Gergely Bozsik was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ivan Linquist in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The corner led Rapid's Patrik Marton to fire away a dangerous shot which Ivan Linquist despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 8-1 when Patrik Marton sped through Kisbágyon's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ivan Linquist. Rapid's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
