The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Attila Mesterházy was a little too slow when Zlatin Ibrahimovic got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 7th minute, Zsombor Medve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gergely Sinka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Kilstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Máté Elek hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Attila Mesterházy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Máté Polgár, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Feliberto Bonadona was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 23 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by László Madaras in the 30th minute of play forced Óperencián Túl Se's goalkeeper Gergely Sinka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Márk Tóth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the game, László Madaras cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Gergely Sinka was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 45 minutes of play, Balassagyarmat SC's Máté Elek made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gergely Sinka was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Máté Polgár made a kick off. Attila Mesterházy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Máté Polgár, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 53 minutes into the match, Balassagyarmat SC's goal looked a bit too open when József Szűcs came free, but Attila Mesterházy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Óperencián Túl Se getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Márk Tóth hit a great ball. After having played for 60 minutes, Márk Tóth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Óperencián Túl Se's supporters crossed their fingers, but Márk Tóth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gergely Sinka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from László Madaras, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute Seb Brent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attila Mesterházy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Máté Polgár received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Attila Mesterházy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Balassagyarmat SC made a substitution. László Csank replaced Christian Kilstedt. If Máté Polgár had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sándor Csongrádi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Attila Mesterházy having to interfere. Gergely Sinka didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from László Csank went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. The Óperencián Túl Se supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Balassagyarmat SC's performance. The match ended with a win for Balassagyarmat SC.
