The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pál Pál came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Rapid's Pál Sugár. But to his dismay, Pál Sugár quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Pál Pál didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pál Sugár went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. János Csizmadia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Antal Pádár tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Miskolc-Szirma FC defense, Pál Sugár kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pál Pál. The Miskolc-Szirma FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pál Pál should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-8 lead.

The wind increased when Pál Sugár made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Álmos Csáki reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pál Pál. The goal made the score 0-9. In the 55th minute Sámuel Hoffman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pál Pál saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Rapid's Sámuel Hoffman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pál Pál made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. Miskolc-Szirma FC's Pál Pál proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Miskolc-Szirma FC from getting a goal against them. Pál Pál made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Patrik Marton sent off a good shot on target. Pál Pál took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sámuel Hoffman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, Patrik Marton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pál Pál. Miskolc-Szirma FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patrik Marton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-13. Pál Pál showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferenc Kásás, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute, Patrik Marton made a precise shot to the right of Pál Pál. Miskolc-Szirma FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-14. Pál Pál was a little too slow when Sámuel Hoffman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-15. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Pál Sugár put it in 0-17 from a short distance just to the right of Pál Pál. In the 93rd minute, Pál Sugár got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rapid played a much better game than Miskolc-Szirma FC and deserved their victory. The Miskolc-Szirma FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
