The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Dilmen Akadlı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hasan Tahsin İltemur in the 6th minute of play forced Gelse's goalkeeper Mátyás Horváth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, Hasan Tahsin İltemur made a precise shot to the right of Mátyás Horváth. Gelse's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Árpád Kerekes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from György Gömöri in the 8th minute of the match. Puja SE's Árpád Kerekes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by György Gömöri in the 16th minute of play. Mátyás Horváth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hasan Tahsin İltemur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Puja SE's Tamás Benkó ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mátyás Horváth. Mátyás Horváth yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Mátyás Horváth made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Dilmen Akadlı sent off a good shot on target. After 32 played minutes Gelse got a freekick which was hit by János Torma. After 32 played minutes, Puja SE's Eliodor Manciulea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mátyás Horváth came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Puja SE reached it. Árpád Kerekes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from György Gömöri in the 34th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gelse's zone, Hasan Tahsin İltemur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mátyás Horváth came out of the goal and Hasan Tahsin İltemur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Ferenc Fülöp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Árpád Kerekes was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. János Torma hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. A collision led to Puja SE getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Dilmen Akadlı hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Puja SE's goal looked a bit too open when Ferenc Fülöp came free, but Árpád Kerekes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, 夏天 Paabo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Pablo Aimar got free with Árpád Kerekes in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 61 played minutes Puja SE got a freekick which was hit by Márton Szatmári. Márton Szatmári's late challenge caught a Gelse's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Márton Szatmári helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th minute, Márton Szatmári hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Puja SE booed when Gelse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tamás Benedek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferenc Fülöp who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Árpád Kerekes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 82nd match minute, Puja SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hasan Tahsin İltemur to maneuver through the defense. Hasan Tahsin İltemur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mátyás Horváth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Mátyás Horváth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dilmen Akadlı, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Puja SE were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Gelse for a fine match.
