János Gerős short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got László Lehoczky to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Vönöck getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. István Veress hit a great ball. Sebestyén Somogyi came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Vönöck's Adorján Révész. But to his dismay, Adorján Révész quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Vönöck booed when Kunhegyes Spartacus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihály Vályogos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mihály Vályogos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but László Lehoczky made a huge save. István Veress charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Sebestyén Somogyi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adorján Révész in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Kunhegyes Spartacus's goal looked a bit too open when Rómeó Tököli came free, but Sebestyén Somogyi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Vönöck's zone, Mihály Vályogos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. László Lehoczky came out of the goal and Mihály Vályogos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mihály Vályogos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without László Lehoczky having to interfere. Mihály Vályogos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the game, György Demeter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vönöck's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kunhegyes Spartacus the free kick. Vönöck's László Lehoczky proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Vönöck from getting a goal against them. Vönöck's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Károly Matolcsy 39 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. A hard shot 43 in the game by Mihály Vályogos from a close distance when the talented László Lehoczky managed to make a qualified save. Vönöck's players were relieved. Sebestyén Somogyi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adorján Révész, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 51st match minute, Kunhegyes Spartacus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iivari Bärlund to maneuver through the defense. Adorján Révész could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Sebestyén Somogyi made a huge save. Sándor Kovács hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Kunhegyes Spartacus's Sebestyén Somogyi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rómeó Tököli in the 61st minute of play.
