Gyáli BKSE's Miltiadis Pithagoras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hasan Tahsin İltemur in the 18th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dilmen Akadlı in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miltiadis Pithagoras prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Gyáli BKSE defense, Dilmen Akadlı kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miltiadis Pithagoras. The Gyáli BKSE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miltiadis Pithagoras should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dilmen Akadlı in the 32nd minute of play forced Gyáli BKSE's goalkeeper Miltiadis Pithagoras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miltiadis Pithagoras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hasan Tahsin İltemur in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gyáli BKSE's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eliodor Manciulea was slow to take the kick. During this time Puja SE's players had a chance to rest. If Mikail Konuralp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Gyáli BKSE booed when Puja SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tamás Benkó didn't get a good kick on the ball.

51 minutes into the match, Puja SE's goal looked a bit too open when Mikail Konuralp came free, but Árpád Kerekes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miltiadis Pithagoras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hasan Tahsin İltemur in the 54th minute of play. Miltiadis Pithagoras didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dilmen Akadlı went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Dilmen Akadlı received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Miltiadis Pithagoras came out and tried to block the shot, but Dilmen Akadlı slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 64th minute. Miltiadis Pithagoras made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Dilmen Akadlı sent off a good shot on target. 68 minutes into the match, Gyáli BKSE's Árpád Cseh sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Árpád Kerekes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Puja SE getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Eliodor Manciulea hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the game, Árpád Cseh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gyáli BKSE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Puja SE the free kick. In the 73rd match minute, Gyáli BKSE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Árpád Cseh to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th play minute Tamás Benkó came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Miltiadis Pithagoras. 0-4. A collision led to Puja SE getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Silvestrs Zupenieks hit a great ball. Miltiadis Pithagoras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dilmen Akadlı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dilmen Akadlıs short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Miltiadis Pithagoras to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 85 minutes, Hasan Tahsin İltemur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puja SE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hasan Tahsin İltemur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Puja SE supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Puja SE would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
