In the 7th minute, Adriano Iacovone left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trógerek fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Kálmán Virágh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gábor Újházi in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Stephan Schmidt notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Gomba SK's Kálmán Virágh. Kálmán Virágh was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gábor Újházi hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Kálmán Virágh was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. 46 minutes into the game, Gábor Újházi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Kálmán Virágh was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. József Szántó was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Gábor Újházi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gomba SK's Kálmán Virágh was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 54th minute, Stephan Schmidt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Trógerek fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Trógerek's Gábor Újházi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kálmán Virágh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adriano Iacovone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, József Szántó managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gomba SK's supporters rose to their feet, but József Szántó was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antal Galambos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rdth minute of the game Gábor Újházi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gomba SK's Kálmán Virágh was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Gábor Újházi put it in 0-12 from a short distance just to the right of Kálmán Virágh. After 73 minutes, Gábor Újházi made it 0-13 with a short kick to the right side. Gomba SK's Kálmán Virágh tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
