The audience thought a goal was coming when Wawrzyniec Wolniewicz got free with Gedeon Fábián in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Wawrzyniec Wolniewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Curcio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th minute, Jonathan Curcio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gedeon Fábián. The goal made the score 2-0. Thanks to some nice moves Wawrzyniec Wolniewicz could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Gedeon Fábián however easily saved by the left post. Gedeon Fábián showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Curcio, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Wawrzyniec Wolniewicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Gedeon Fábián made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Gázszer FC's Wawrzyniec Wolniewicz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gedeon Fábián. That made the score 3-0 after 38 minutes of play. Pál Szusza hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Ákos Erdôs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Gázszer FC's Jonathan Curcio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gedeon Fábián. That made the score 4-0 after 45 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonathan Curcio made a kick off. In the 50th minute, Richárd Sipos fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kázmér Hoffman, passed just outside the right post. Richárd Sipos's late challenge caught a Gázszer FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Richárd Sipos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd match minute, Karancskeszi EAC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richárd Sipos to maneuver through the defense. Wawrzyniec Wolniewicz scored 5-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gedeon Fábián, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 61 played minutes Gázszer FC got a freekick which was hit by János Grósz. After some careless play in the Karancskeszi EAC defense, Jonathan Curcio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gedeon Fábián. The Karancskeszi EAC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gedeon Fábián should have stopped the shot. Gázszer FC made a substitution. András Sass replaced Gáspár Kun. When Gázszer FC's András Sass, in the 76th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Gázszer FC. Karancskeszi EAC's Gedeon Fábián played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by András Sass in the 83rd minute of play. Kázmér Hoffman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richárd Sipos in the 89th minute of the match. Karancskeszi EAC were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Gázszer FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sebastien Ellis took the corner. After 93 minutes, Jeromos Dósa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karancskeszi EAC and the Gázszer FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd match minute, Karancskeszi EAC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeromos Dósa to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by András Sass in the 95th minute of play forced Karancskeszi EAC's goalkeeper Gedeon Fábián to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gázszer FC had played much better football throughout.
