Spectators: 7130 (Terracing: 5250, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 155) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zsolt Medve started the match with the kick off. In the 5th match minute, Bátya TC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mátyás Rácz to maneuver through the defense. Vendel Hellinger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10th minute, Emil Balla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Puskás Akadémia's goalkeeper Gusztáv Horváth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Levente Szalontai. 19 minutes into the match, Bátya TC's goal looked a bit too open when Ede Erős came free, but János Szepesi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gusztáv Horváth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Imre Kollár, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the game, Imre Kollár recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gusztáv Horváth. Imre Kollár showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, Bátya TC's goal looked a bit too open when Ede Erős came free, but János Szepesi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Bátya TC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Vince Tóth hit a great ball. Vendel Hellinger hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Zsolt Medve ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. János Szepesi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Norbert Gyarmati fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Puskás Akadémia's protests and gave Norbert Gyarmati a yellow card for diving instead. Norbert Gyarmati kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 41st match minute, Bátya TC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vince Tóth to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, Ádám Újváry notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Bátya TC's János Szepesi. János Szepesi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Ádám Újváry put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of János Szepesi. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

If Ádám Újváry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zsolt Medve could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but János Szepesi made a huge save. János Szepesi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ede Erős, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Bátya TC defense, Zsolt Medve kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of János Szepesi. The Bátya TC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that János Szepesi should have stopped the shot. In the 59th minute, Róbert Szabados hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zsolt Medve scored 1-5 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of János Szepesi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mátyás Rácz charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mátyás Rácz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Puskás Akadémia booed when Bátya TC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mátyás Rácz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th match minute, Bátya TC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Balla to maneuver through the defense. János Szepesi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zsolt Medve in the 70th minute. In the 78th minute Ádám Újváry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but János Szepesi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Vendel Hellinger came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Puskás Akadémia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vendel Hellinger couldn't finish the play. Vince Tóth hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Ádám Újváry struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. János Szepesi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Puskás Akadémia. After 91 minutes, Ede Erős made it 1-8 with a short kick to the right side. Bátya TC's János Szepesi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfonz Hellinger kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After 97 played minutes Bátya TC got a freekick which was hit by Róbert Szabados. Bátya TC's János Szepesi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Bátya TC from getting a goal against them. Puskás Akadémia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
