Viktor Lengyel hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the match, Szolnoki MÁV's Csanád Újvári broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. István Tamás received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Ottó Szántó tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Levente Vámosi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. In the 35th minute, István Tamás made a precise shot to the right of Ottó Szántó. Szolnoki MÁV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Tiszalök VSE's Károly Váradi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Tiszalök VSE from getting a goal against them. Ferenc Baló sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and István Tamás made a kick off. István Tamás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ottó Szántó having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, István Tamás took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Ottó Szántó to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferenc Baló in the 57th minute of play forced Szolnoki MÁV's goalkeeper Ottó Szántó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Levente Vámosi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tiszalök VSE's supporters rose to their feet, but Levente Vámosi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ottó Szántó breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emesto Muñagorri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Károly Váradi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emesto Muñagorri's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Ferenc Baló could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Ottó Szántó made a huge save. In the 83rd minute, István Tamás reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ottó Szántó. The goal made the score 2-4. Roland Varga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th match minute, Tiszalök VSE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Józsa to maneuver through the defense. Tiszalök VSE's Károly Váradi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Csanád Újvári in the 91st minute of play. Emesto Muñagorri's late challenge caught a Tiszalök VSE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emesto Muñagorri helped the player get up and apologised. Emesto Muñagorri hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. A collision led to Szolnoki MÁV getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Csanád Újvári hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Józsa in the 96th minute of play forced Szolnoki MÁV's goalkeeper Ottó Szántó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiszalök VSE's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
