With a little luck, Magyaregregy's Zsigmond Dudás got control of the ball when Emesto Muñagorri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emesto Muñagorri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Zsigmond Dudás made a huge save. György Kodály charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed György Kodály the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes Magyaregregy got a freekick which was hit by György Kodály. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roland Varga in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zsigmond Dudás prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zsigmond Dudás made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Varga in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Magyaregregy's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Emesto Muñagorri fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience was convinced that Roland Varga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zsigmond Dudás was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51stth minute of the game Roland Varga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Magyaregregy's Zsigmond Dudás was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Szolnoki MÁV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. The supporters of Szolnoki MÁV booed when Magyaregregy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position.
