Ottó Szántó was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, Szolnoki MÁV's goal looked a bit too open when Róbert Vörös came free, but Ottó Szántó reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Tamás Juhász cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ottó Szántó was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Szolnoki MÁV's Ottó Szántó played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tamás Juhász in the 19th minute of play. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Örjan Ståhlberg as he didn't even see the shot coming. Szolnoki MÁV were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Tiszaadony SE's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Csanád Újvári took the corner.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roland Varga was the one to do the kick off. Gedeon Csákvári might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Örjan Ståhlberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ottó Szántó didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tiszaadony SE. After 54 minutes, Emesto Muñagorri made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. Tiszaadony SE's Örjan Ståhlberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tamás Juhász got free with Ottó Szántó in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 93 minutes into the match, Szolnoki MÁV's goalkeeper Ottó Szántó had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Róbert Vörös.
