In the 4th minute Levente Nagy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szilveszter Győri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute, Balázs Csordás made a precise shot to the right of Szilveszter Győri. Gellénháza's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Balázs Csordás struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Szilveszter Győri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kemence VSC. Marcell Bács fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Szilveszter Győri having to interfere. The supporters of Kemence VSC booed when Gellénháza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnold Szusza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcell Bács sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Gellénháza defense, Marcell Bács kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Szilveszter Győri. The Gellénháza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Szilveszter Győri should have stopped the shot. Balázs Csordás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Szilveszter Győri having to interfere. Albert Bolla charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albert Bolla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ferdinánd Sörös during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kemence VSC's Ferdinánd Sörös got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Gedeon Czakó lost his temper 37 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Zsolt Kovács placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 40th minute, Marcell Bács ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Szilveszter Győri was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Marcell Bács recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Szabolcs Lengyel to make the kick off. Kemence VSC's Ronny Björklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szabolcs Lengyel in the 53rd minute of play. Levente Nagy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Szilveszter Győri having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szabolcs Lengyel in the 60th minute of play forced Kemence VSC's goalkeeper Ronny Björklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Marcell Bács managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kemence VSC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcell Bács was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Szilveszter Győri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Szabolcs Lengyel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ronny Björklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronny Björklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szabolcs Lengyel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Balázs Csordás came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Kemence VSC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Balázs Csordás couldn't finish the play. Szilveszter Győri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Levente Nagy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Balázs Barta hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Marcell Bács recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Kemence VSC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gellénháza throughout the match.
