The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gyula Gömöri during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Budapesti Hiénák FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Gyula Gömöri hit a great ball. Tibor Hoffman had several of the Budapesti Hiénák FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 8 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Mihály Buday as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 12 played minutes Budapesti Hiénák FC got a freekick which was hit by Leó Vágner. In the 14th minute, Gyula Gömöri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Budapesti Hiénák FC's zone, Árpád Tulipán stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mihály Buday came out of the goal and Árpád Tulipán tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the match, Budapesti Hiénák FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tibor Hoffman came free, but Mihály Buday reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mihály Buday took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tibor Hoffman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mihály Buday showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tibor Hoffman, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Endre Zakariás scored 1-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antonia Kuklis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Budapesti Hiénák FC's zone, Tibor Hoffman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mihály Buday came out of the goal and Tibor Hoffman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antonia Kuklis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kálmán Kis in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tibor Hoffman in the 35th minute of play forced Budapesti Hiénák FC's goalkeeper Mihály Buday to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute ComeBack were awarded a corner. Tibor Hoffman went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Tibor Hoffman almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Budapesti Hiénák FC's Mihály Buday did a great save. After a rather tough play, ComeBack's Tibor Hoffman got a free kick in the 41st minute. Antonia Kuklis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lajos Szakál in the 42nd minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tibor Hoffman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Tibor Hoffman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ComeBack's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tibor Hoffman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mihály Buday made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tibor Hoffman in the 55th minute of play. Budapesti Hiénák FC's Mihály Buday played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tibor Hoffman in the 57th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Árpád Tulipán cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Mihály Buday was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 63rd minute, Tibor Hoffman made a precise shot to the right of Mihály Buday. Budapesti Hiénák FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Antonia Kuklis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lajos Szakál in the 67th minute of play. Csongor Sóti hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. A collision led to Budapesti Hiénák FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Leó Vágner hit a great ball. Tibor Hoffman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Mihály Buday tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mihály Buday stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tibor Hoffman's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. After 82 minutes, Tibor Hoffman made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Budapesti Hiénák FC's Mihály Buday tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mihály Buday stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tibor Hoffman's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Lajos Szakál kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Antonia Kuklis. That made the score 4-2 in the 89 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tibor Hoffman in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mihály Buday prevented the ball from getting in the gole. ComeBack walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
