In the 41stth minute of the game Miklós Fehér who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Casino Ajka FC 1988's Filcho Buhov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Miklós Fehér could shoot a difficult shot in the 43rd minute, which Filcho Buhov however easily saved by the left post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

In the 54th minute of the match, Kaido Härmi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bálint Hellinger saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Jonsson in the 61st minute of play forced FC Budapest's goalkeeper Bálint Hellinger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casino Ajka FC 1988's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bohumil Bohuněk in the 64th minute.
