The supporters of Black Panthers booed when SS Pacha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferenc Bodrogi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gyula Mészáros made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Micha Klain sent off a good shot on target. SS Pacha's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bud Spencer in the 11th minute. Anders Haglund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Csaba Vándor having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Micha Klain fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 20 minutes in the game, Micha Klain fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gyula Mészáros having to interfere. Yoeri Vrins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the game, Micha Klain lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Gyula Mészáros. Csaba Vándor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yoeri Vrins went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Csaba Vándor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yoeri Vrins, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 37thth minute of the game Anders Haglund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SS Pacha's Csaba Vándor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Csaba Vándor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yoeri Vrins's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Micha Klain made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anders Haglund got free with Csaba Vándor in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yoeri Vrins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 62nd minute, Bud Spencer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yoeri Vrins in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Csaba Vándor saved SS Pacha from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Micha Klain in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gyula Mészáros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 89th minute, Rajmund Nyilasi had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. 89 minutes into the game, Yoeri Vrins was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Black Panthers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SS Pacha the free kick. Anders Haglund who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Csaba Vándor when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Anders Haglund received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Csaba Vándor came out and tried to block the shot, but Anders Haglund slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 94th minute.
