Bart van Goetsenhoven was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Henter Somosd's players had a chance to rest. A hard shot 19 in the game by Frank Mees from a close distance when the talented Almir Saldanha managed to make a qualified save. FC Galaxy's players were relieved. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Frank Mees put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Almir Saldanha. Flávio de Castro's late challenge caught a FC Galaxy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flávio de Castro helped the player get up and apologised. 27 minutes into the match, FC Henter Somosd's goal looked a bit too open when Sándor Karsai came free, but Paulo Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Galaxy's Almir Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Mees in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Imre Bártfai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute Frank Mees shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Almir Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Almir Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bart van Goetsenhoven, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Mees in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Almir Saldanha saved FC Galaxy from getting behind. A nice corner shot did that Bart van Goetsenhoven got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Almir Saldanha quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The FC Henter Somosd fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when FC Henter Somosd's Ziemowit Tylinski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Almir Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Mees in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, FC Henter Somosd's Frank Mees nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Almir Saldanha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Leão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 72ndth minute of the game Frank Mees who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Galaxy's Almir Saldanha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frank Mees might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Almir Saldanha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Mees ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 76th minute, Frank Mees ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Almir Saldanha was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Almir Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Mees in the 80th minute of the match. Frank Mees fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almir Saldanha having to interfere. Teodosio Lawrence was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 91 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 91st minute of the game. One of FC Henter Somosd:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Galaxy:s goal. FC Henter Somosd:s Paulo Leão showed great skill when he stopped Fülöp Kelemen:s penalty. FC Henter Somosd were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Galaxy for a fine match.
