Efrain Fuentes started the match with the kick off. Géza Tótfalusi struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. Péter Simkó didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Green Zombies. Efrain Fuentes kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Roland Magos's late challenge caught a 1866 Lokomotiv Kanizsa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roland Magos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19thth minute of the game Efrain Fuentes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Green Zombies's Cristinel Tomulescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Harun Mustafa took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Péter Simkó. Péter Simkó dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Cristinel Tomulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dávid Pócsi in the 29th minute of play. Efrain Fuentes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Cristinel Tomulescu made a huge save. 1866 Lokomotiv Kanizsa's Mickael Knops quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Roland Magos, made in the 32nd minute of the game. Roland Magos made in the 34th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by 1866 Lokomotiv Kanizsa's Mickael Knops. If Dávid Pócsi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Green Zombies's goalkeeper Cristinel Tomulescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Efrain Fuentes. In the 41st minute of the match 1866 Lokomotiv Kanizsa got a corner. Green Zombies's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Damian Olejarz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Efrain Fuentes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristinel Tomulescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zsigmond Tímár to make the kick off. Cristinel Tomulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dávid Pócsi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Péter Simkó came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Green Zombies's Harun Mustafa. But to his dismay, Harun Mustafa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Green Zombies's Mihály Hidegkúti was substituted for Zsigmond Tímár. A collision led to Green Zombies getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Roland Magos hit a great ball. In the 63rd match minute, Green Zombies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Magos to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Green Zombies's Mihály Hidegkúti ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Péter Simkó. Péter Simkó yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. After 67 played minutes Green Zombies got a freekick which was hit by Roland Magos. 1866 Lokomotiv Kanizsa's Csanád Bács was substituted for Zoltán Bíró. Roland Magos hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute Efrain Fuentes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristinel Tomulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dávid Pócsi came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the 1866 Lokomotiv Kanizsa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dávid Pócsi couldn't finish the play. The supporters of 1866 Lokomotiv Kanizsa booed when Green Zombies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marius Prestin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristinel Tomulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Fuentes in the 85th minute of play. Walter Carter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Péter Simkó tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Fuentes in the 96th minute of play forced Green Zombies's goalkeeper Cristinel Tomulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
