Vencel Mezei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kálmán Gácsi, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 12th match minute, Pénzügyőr SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erben Kiewit to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Zalasárszeg OSE's Márton Horváth tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Márton Horváth kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Herberto Mascarenhas's shot from long distance in the 16th minute was not bad at all, but Zalasárszeg OSE's György Tóth knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. With an all-out effort, Pénzügyőr SE's György Tóth threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Herberto Mascarenhas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tihamér Angyal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but György Tóth made a huge save. In the 23rd minute Bertil Albäck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but György Tóth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Pénzügyőr SE's zone, Kálmán Gácsi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vencel Mezei came out of the goal and Kálmán Gácsi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kálmán Gácsi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vencel Mezei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kálmán Gácsi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tihamér Angyal scored 1-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of György Tóth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertil Albäck in the 43rd minute of play forced Zalasárszeg OSE's goalkeeper György Tóth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kálmán Gácsi made a kick off. Vencel Mezei made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Kálmán Gácsi sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kálmán Gácsi in the 57th minute of play forced Pénzügyőr SE's goalkeeper Vencel Mezei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. András Selymes kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Herberto Mascarenhas struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. György Tóth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pénzügyőr SE. Vencel Mezei came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Zalasárszeg OSE's Kálmán Gácsi. But to his dismay, Kálmán Gácsi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Vencel Mezei was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Fábián Füzesi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fábián Füzesi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Ádám Bakos kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. György Tóth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertil Albäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kálmán Gácsi in the 83rd minute of play forced Pénzügyőr SE's goalkeeper Vencel Mezei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tihamér Angyal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. György Tóth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Márton Soós kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The Pénzügyőr SE supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Zalasárszeg OSE's performance. The match ended with a win for Zalasárszeg OSE.
