Arnold Szuper made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's goal looked a bit too open when Louis-Philippe Damman came free, but Arnold Szuper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Grandi Lupi's Charly Alberti in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Charly Alberti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arnold Szuper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charly Alberti in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 25th minute Charly Alberti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnold Szuper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnold Szuper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charly Alberti, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. If Charly Alberti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. But to his dismay, Sergiu Bejenaru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charly Alberti in the 45th minute of play forced Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper Arnold Szuper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Arnold Szuper didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Charly Alberti went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. 54 minutes into the match, Grandi Lupi's goal looked a bit too open when Mihály Földesi came free, but Alfonz Kállai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Charly Alberti in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnold Szuper prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charly Alberti in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnold Szuper saved Szombathely Squirrels from getting behind. With a little luck, Szombathely Squirrels's Arnold Szuper got control of the ball when Charly Alberti tried to sneak it across the goal line. Grandi Lupi made a substitution. Árpád Láng replaced Louis-Philippe Damman. Grandi Lupi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Patryk Huchro in the 71st minute. Grandi Lupi's Patryk Huchro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arnold Szuper in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sergiu Bejenaru might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnold Szuper. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sergiu Bejenaru ran back to his position shaking his head. Szombathely Squirrels's Arnold Szuper proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Szombathely Squirrels from getting a goal against them. Arnold Szuper made an important save on a dangerous shot by Árpád Láng in the 76th minute. Arnold Szuper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Tristezza in the 77th minute of the match. Frank Tristezza was extremely unlucky when he, in the 91st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 92nd minute Frank Tristezza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnold Szuper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Grandi Lupi could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Szombathely Squirrels throughout the match.
