Thomas Sørheim took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alfonz Kállai. Grandi Lupi's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Grandi Lupi's zone, Wayne Rooney stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonz Kállai came out of the goal and Wayne Rooney tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfonz Kállai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wayne Rooney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute of the match ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ got a corner. Grandi Lupi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Thomas Sørheim ran over to the corner to take the kick. 44 minutes into the game, ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's Gergő Tisza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfonz Kállai made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Charly Alberti to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Grandi Lupi got a freekick which was hit by Koppány Benczur. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wayne Rooney got free with Alfonz Kállai in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wayne Rooney could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Alfonz Kállai made a huge save. When Victor Mereutã fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's protests and gave Victor Mereutã a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's Victor Mereutã got a free kick in the 60th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Grandi Lupi's goal looked a bit too open when Gergő Tisza came free, but Alfonz Kállai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Patryk Huchro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this János Földvári quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dávid Baroch in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alfonz Kállai, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Grandi Lupi's Marjan Chaban quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Richárd Bányai, made in the 92nd minute of the game. After 94 minutes, Louis-Philippe Damman made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's János Földvári tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
