Višeslav Kekez hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, U.S. Triestina Calcio's goal looked a bit too open when Zoltan Violić came free, but Davor Moro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Davor Moro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zoltan Violić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 played minutes U.S. Triestina Calcio got a freekick which was hit by Trpimir Bajo. NK Osk's Goran Kvaternik managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jadran Ratković in the 27 minute of the game. Zoltan Violić was extremely unlucky when he, in the 28th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 30th minute, Zoltan Violić fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Davor Moro, passed just outside the right post. If Zoltan Violić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to NK Osk getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Višeslav Kekez hit a great ball. If Zoltan Violić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zoltan Violić might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Davor Moro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zoltan Violić ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of U.S. Triestina Calcio booed when NK Osk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Goran Rustemović didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zoltan Violić in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Davor Moro saved U.S. Triestina Calcio from getting behind. U.S. Triestina Calcio's Davor Moro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vid Arko in the 70th minute of play. Trpimir Bajo kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, NK Osk's Bernard Tijanić broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Davor Moro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zoltan Violić, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Davor Moro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zoltan Violić in the 83rd minute of the match. Zoltan Violić struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Davor Moro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NK Osk. After 86 minutes of play, NK Osk's Zoltan Violić made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Davor Moro was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Goran Rustemović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, U.S. Triestina Calcio's Ivica Bagarić got a free kick in the 95th minute. Tommy Qela's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 97thth minute, Vid Tivanovac skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. NK Osk had played much better football throughout.
