An unexpectedly hard shot by Rade Vranješ in the 8th minute of play forced Grande Croatia's goalkeeper Njegoslav Guberina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rade Vranješ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Njegoslav Guberina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Branjin Vrh Cetina's Šandor Radanović sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Njegoslav Guberina narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rade Vranješ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Njegoslav Guberina having to interfere. In the 19thth minute of the game Rade Vranješ who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grande Croatia's Njegoslav Guberina was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Rade Vranješ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Njegoslav Guberina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rade Vranješ, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boro Rendulić in the 28th minute of play forced Grande Croatia's goalkeeper Njegoslav Guberina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Branjin Vrh Cetina's zone, Ivo Vezmar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teofil Burić came out of the goal and Ivo Vezmar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ivo Vezmar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dominik Trevižan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofil Burić having to interfere. Branjin Vrh Cetina's Rade Vranješ got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Branjin Vrh Cetina's Boro Rendulić in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grande Croatia's goalie prevented a goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Boro Rendulić to make the kick off. A collision led to Branjin Vrh Cetina getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Šandor Radanović hit a great ball. Boro Rendulić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Njegoslav Guberina having to interfere. Ivo Vezmar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Teofil Burić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the game, one of Grande Croatia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 67 minutes into the match, Grande Croatia's goal looked a bit too open when Boro Rendulić came free, but Njegoslav Guberina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Branjin Vrh Cetina's Teofil Burić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominik Trevižan in the 70th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Dominik Trevižan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grande Croatia's supporters rose to their feet, but Dominik Trevižan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teofil Burić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Šandor Radanović fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Branjin Vrh Cetina's protests and gave Šandor Radanović a yellow card for diving instead. Njegoslav Guberina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boro Rendulić's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Njegoslav Guberina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boro Rendulić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 86 played minutes Branjin Vrh Cetina got a freekick which was hit by Adam Fio. In the 87th minute Ivo Vezmar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofil Burić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rade Vranješ could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Njegoslav Guberina made a huge save. After having played for 91 minutes, Rade Vranješ managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Branjin Vrh Cetina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rade Vranješ was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Grande Croatia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Branjin Vrh Cetina were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
