Spectators: 6814 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1814, VIP seats: 0) The throw-in from Nikša Kodar in the 10th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Nk Riječina's Tonino Barišić. Nk Riječina's Pero Paral got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ilija Rapo came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Kastav Učka's Miljenko Gobac. But to his dismay, Miljenko Gobac quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomica Šprem in the 18th minute of play forced Nk Riječina's goalkeeper Ilija Rapo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nk Riječina's attentive Branimir Peranić managed to snatch the ball when Predrag Mikulić made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. Ilija Rapo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomica Šprem in the 26th minute of play. After 27 played minutes Nk Riječina got a freekick which was hit by Tonino Barišić. Tito Šerbedžija fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanislav Trninić having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Pero Paral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nk Riječina's supporters rose to their feet, but Pero Paral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stanislav Trninić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ilija Rapo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miljenko Gobac went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Ilija Rapo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomica Šprem, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

After having played for 53 minutes, Tonino Barišić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nk Riječina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tonino Barišić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pero Paral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Stanislav Trninić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stanislav Trninić didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Nk Riječina's Pero Paral shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-3 in the ordered_time% minute. If Tonino Barišić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tito Šerbedžija sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stanislav Trninić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tito Šerbedžija in the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute of the match, Oliver Brdarić got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ilija Rapo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Drago Karuza scored 4-3 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stanislav Trninić, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 78 played minutes, Kastav Učka's Nikša Kodar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ilija Rapo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kastav Učka reached it. Predrag Mikulić made in the 88th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Miljenko Gobac. The crowd rose to their feet as Miljenko Gobac kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ilija Rapo. That made the score 4-4 in the 89 minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Alan Gradiček hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nk Riječina's Ilija Rapo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Nk Riječina from getting a goal against them. Nk Riječina were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Kastav Učka to leave the ground with a draw.
