Veselin Rendić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darko Tivanovac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dobroslav Kurtović struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Mileta Šoštar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sikirevci. If Mišo Brkić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dobroslav Kurtović to strike the kick off in the second half. Vjeran Vučak kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Sikirevci's Vjenceslav Geber got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Pravdan Matiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mileta Šoštar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dobroslav Kurtović in the 66th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Stara Gradiška's Rafael Glaurdić got a free kick in the 67th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Stara Gradiška's zone, Dobroslav Kurtović stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mileta Šoštar came out of the goal and Dobroslav Kurtović tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mileta Šoštar came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Sikirevci's Mišo Brkić. But to his dismay, Mišo Brkić quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice moves Pravdan Matiz could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Mileta Šoštar however easily saved by the left post. When Mišo Brkić came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Sikirevci fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mišo Brkić couldn't finish the play. Stara Gradiška's Mileta Šoštar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dobroslav Kurtović in the 85th minute of play. Mišo Brkić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Mileta Šoštar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Stara Gradiška's goal looked a bit too open when Dobroslav Kurtović came free, but Mileta Šoštar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dobroslav Kurtović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Mileta Šoštar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Stara Gradiška fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sikirevci were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
